CHAPTER 5 Poor Kid :

I was starting to believe Seth might accually go nuts after just a week of Leah going missing.Until Emmett caught the scent.He grabbed Me and Jasper and made us follow him.Seth insisted that he would come too,since this was his first and final hope.We all followed Emmett.He trotted through the forest.Jasper kept getting mad because I wouldn't let him run at lightning speed.Emmett didn't really seem to mind.He was loving the chance to do this.Seth got more and more hopeful as we went,then... Emmett lost the trail.He shrugged and sat down on the ground."Sorry about that Seth.. We'll keep trying." He grinned at him.Seth sighed.
"It's okay.. I know its not your fault." He smiled alittle and sat down on the ground also.He looked around the trees for anything out of the ordinary. A body? He suggested to himself.I walked up behind him and squeezed his shoulders for that thought.He chuckled."Sorry.. Re-flex.." He sighed.I rolled my eyes.
"Seth.Lets get this straight.Other than Sam,Leah is the toughest,meanest,most annoying wolf I know." I grinned.Seth laughed.
"True.." He muttered.I smiled and loosened my grip on his shoulders.Seth sighed."I can't control my thoughts so stay out of them" I sighed and let go of him.I started walking toward the woods.When I heard someone yell in a strained voice.It was strangly farmilliar but I was to tired to process it.
"Jacob!" I heard in the same voice.It was closer this time and I could now confirm it was a man's voice.Deep and serious.I turned to my right and strained my eyes to see anything in the distance when something growled directly behind me.I jumped and span around to Sam.Towering over me.He was holding in his arms.One arm under her shoulders and one arm under her knees - Leah.She was out cold.Seth,Jasper and Emmett were to far away to hear,and facing the other direction.I looked back at Leah.She was also bleeding - The injurys to bad to heal within a matter of minutes."I think she might have a couple of broken bones." Sam said.His deep voice catching my attention and making me look him in the eye.Sam looked in Seth's direction."Go get him please." He demanded annoyed and worried about Leah.I chuckled and sighed.
"Seth!" He looked up immedeatly and span around.His face lit up.He jumped to his feet and ran up to us.
"Is she hurt? Where was she?" He started rushing the questions so fast some of them didn't make since.Then after five seconds of no answer he asked."Is she dead?" In a sad,childish,frightened voice.Sam chuckled and glanced at me.
"Seth.Calm down." He demanded.Seth stared at him still wanting answers.He crossed his arms.
"First off.She's not dead.Second.I think she may have a broken bone or too but before you get over-reacted try cutting the tip of your finger and see how long it bleeds..." He explained making him think before he screamed.Sam looked down at Leah then up at Emmett. "Emmett!" He yelled.Emmett ran over.
"What?" He looked at Leah in his arms but then back up at him.
"Call Carlisle.I'll take her to your house and meet you there.. She's injured." He said staring at Emmett.Emmett just nodded and disapeared in an instant.Jasper did the same.Sam rolled his eyes."Come on you two.." He muttered.Me and Seth started following him.

Carlisle looked Leah over,still knocked out,and confirmed that Leah had a broken ankle and a broken arm.The blood were from scratches and one bite mark - Which was luckily not deep enough to hurt a werewolf to were she'd die instantly.Once Carlisle had looked her over,Sam took her back to Seth's house.He knew if she woke up at the Cullen's he'd be in trouble.He layed her on the bed and waited.I waited with them.Of course Seth was there - Closest to the bed at all times.She finally opened her eyes.She looked at Seth.Seth smiled."Do you know how crazy you've driven me?" He demanded.I chuckled.
"And when he says crazy - He means it litteral." I added.Seth didn't argue.Leah sat herself up and moaned when she did.Seth stiffened.
"No.." Leah muttered in a choked voice."Who found me?" She choked again.Staring at Seth.Seth swallowed hard and pointed at Sam sitting in a chair next to me.Leah mummbled."Oh.." We figured she wouldn't like that to much and were dreading telling her.She had a grudge against Sam for imprinting on her cousin Emily.Sam sighed.His feelings a bit hurt.He leaned back in the chair and stared out the window.Leah sat in awkward silence for a momment but looked at Me."I'm shocked your here.." She growled.I mummbled and rolled my eyes.
"Are you kidding me? Your brother would have probably gone insane before Sam found you If I wasn't here.." I defended both myself and Sam.Is she seriously mad at us for saving her life? Leah sighed and looked at Seth.She smiled alittle.Seth grinned.
"He's right.." Seth sighed."I have been terrified." Leah grinned.
"I'm okay Seth! I'll be fine by tomorrow.." She stared at her bandaged arm and growled.I didn't think he would be but I wasn't going to argue and freak Seth out even more than he already was.. if that's even possible. I stood up.They all looked at me.
"I'm going back.." I finally said.Leah muttered something to herself.Sam sighed but didn't seem to care.Seth shrugged.
"Okay bye.." He whispered and leaned back in the chair.
