Chapter 7 - Children of the Moon :

I continued to stare at Sam.He was stuck and he knew it.
He sighed."Werewolves.Or well Werewolf." He muttered.
I looked confused."..Werewolf?"
Sam nodded."Child of the moon."
I blinked.Children of the moon were like the evil twin of us shifters... When they changed forms they didn't turn completly into a wolf.They also have no self control what-so-ever,so they destroy everything in their path and they never run in packs.
I thought a minute."So..There's a werewolf on the loose? That's why your here?" I asked curiously.
Sam started to nod but shook his head."Yes and No.You know we were going cliff diving.. So.. When you never showed,Paul got anxious.. We started back and got a call from Bella that she wanted us to keep an eye on you,Charlie and the baby."
I chuckled at me.She wanted Sam to watch over me too.I sighed.She never thought I could fight my own battles and after breaking myself in half,and Renesme being born she's frightened twice as much.
I smiled alittle."Okay Sam.Thanks for the warning.." I laughed alittle watching Renesme behind him.She was still sitting on Paul's shoulders.She had her hands over his eyes,giggling away.Nessie turned theese guys into a bunch of weak little girls.It went from a blood-curtling growl to baby noises and peek-a-boo.Yep.A baby is NOT a good infulence on theese people.
Sam chuckled.I suddenly realized he was watching Paul and Renesme too.A faint smile on his face.Hmm.. Maybe he was warming up to her too.That wasn't hard to do.The only person I'd seen ignore her was Aro,and he hates everybody so that doesn't exactly count.
Sam let out a sigh.Making me look up at him.He chuckled at my facial expression."Your welcome..." He muttered and walked over to the couch.He sat next to Embry,who was next to Quil,who was next to Billy.I had never noticed how many werewolves could fit on one couch.I suddenly had the urge to try and fit us all onto it.Knowing it would never work.
Paul walked over to me.Bobbing up and down to make Renesme - Who was still on his shoulders - laugh.I sighed."You guys really don't need a baby around.." I whispered.Paul laughed.Renesme giggled and tugged at Paul's hair but It didn't bother him.

When night finally came I sat on the couch.Holding Renesme - who was asleep,and fighting sleep myself.The phone rang in my pocket.I took it out and answered.Sounding like I was asleep but I was to tired to care."Hello...."
"Hi - Were back now.. You can bring her back to our little house."
I nodded and grumbled knowing that wouldn't do.
"Sure,sure.. be there in a minute..." I choked in a whisper and hung up.I stuck it in my pocket and stood up.Fighting a yawn I walked out the door.I walked into the woods to be greated by two wolves.Still carrying the sleeping baby.I nodded to them.I recodnized them at Paul and Seth.I could only read Seth's mind and he must of been arguing with Paul over standing guard with the werewolf on the loose.
Other than the nod I ignored them both and kept going.I walked up to Bella and Edward Cullen's little house and knocked.Renesme stiffened when I moved my arm out from under her to knock.I glanced down at her for a split second.When I looked back Bella and Edward were standing in the doorway.Bella grinned at Nessie and me.Edward just nodded and smiled faintly.I held her out to Bella."I'll keep watch.." I whispered to her.
She took Renesme and turned alittle paler than usual."..Huh?"
I rolled my eyes. "I think you know.Sam told me."
She muttered something and sighed."Fine.I guess I should've known one of them would tell you.. If not Sam.Paul.." She continued to mutter under her breath.
I started to ignore her muttering for a momment.I realized Edward was no longer next to her.She didn't seem fazed though.She finally looked up at me."Alright.To late now.You can if you want." She disapeared with my Nessie and the door was suddenly shut in front of me.
I morphed into the wolf and walked over to the woods so no one would see me.I layed down and leaned against a tree.I fell asleep.

When I woke up.I was still leaning on the tree as a wolf.I stood up and morphed back.I sighed and walked over to the little house."Bella I need to talk to you."
I said loudly at the door.I didn't know what time it was but this was important and she never slept anyway.She opened the door and narrowed her eyes.
"Yes?"
"Do you have a name?..You know.. The werewolf's name?"
Bella hesitated but nodded."Yes... His name is Logan.Why?"
I rolled my eyes.What did she mean why? That was important information."Because I'll need it.Do you have a last name?" She shook her head.I sighed."Okay then... And this is all you know?" She nodded.I nodded with her for a momment.."Alright.We'll look.Watch out for Nessie."
Bella smiled faintly."Since when have I not?"
I ignored that question and turned around.I ran after the woods in the direction I heard Seth and Leah's thoughts until I was running on all fours.
