Chapter 1-Ellie
Today of all days. Why? I think to myself. Well, time to get ready for my new school. So, I got up and put on my black disco dot halter top, my black converse boots, my black spike bracelet, my Jack Skelington earrings and necklace, my black lips clutch, and my black iPod touch. So I turned on one of my favorite songs called ‘Use Somebody’ by Kings of Leon to listen to while I was heading to school.
I’ve been roaming around
Always looking down at all I see
Painted faces fill the places I can’t reach.

At this point the song was making me sad, because, its almost like my life. I could use somebody too, so I just skipped to another favorite song of mine called ‘Fire Burning’ by Sean Kingston. Then, ‘Boy Meets Girl’ and ‘Scotty Doesn’t Know’ then I got into my car. My name is Ellie. I’m emo. I live alone, in this house. I’m 16 years old. And I go to high school. There’s one more thing that nobody knows about me, I’m a wizard.
When I get to school in the morning everybody is staring at me, great. I’m the freak at school. I really didn’t make a friend all day, everyone was scared of me. At lunch, I found a table and sat alone, these 5 people, sitting together just started at my arms. I quickly put my gloves back on. They saw the cuts, prob. They can’t find out, or they’ll try to “help” me. I think to myself. Finally, the end of the day came, I quickly ran to the car. But before that I said a quick spell. I took out my wand, made sure nobody saw, and pointed to a girl named Lauren and Jessica, and said: “Guineus Pigius” and they turned into guinea pigs. Oops, I thought. Those kids saw that, the same kids that were looking at my cuts. That’s really creepy. WAIT, NOW THEY KNOW! Maybe. I got to go e-mail Alex, Justin, and max. Well, max, not so much, he—well, he’s not the best at magic. Justin is, and Alex and me use it for the same thing—fun!
Alex and I are best friends.

Great. My laptop crashed.
I guess I’m on my own. I got my stuff ready to go to the beach.
