JACOB- Chapter 1

There they were- standing only ten feet away from me, both their eyes fixed on their kill, an antelope prancing in the clearing. I cleared my throat a few times, and Edward turned around with a smirk on that disgusting, flawless face. I still couldn't get over the fact that he stole her....my Bella. Bella flung her head around, her beautiful brown hair blown in the wind.
"Jake! I didn't see you!" Bella said, sprinting over to me in record time and squeezing me so hard I had to remind her I wasn't phased, otherwise she'd break my ribs.
"Sorry." She said. I knew she'd be blushing if she were still human, but no. Not anymore, at least. Not until Edward had changed her- the only good thing coming out of that was Nessie.
" 'kay." I choked out while she released my hold. "Where's Nessie?" I asked.
Edward's gaze turned back upon me, I could feel it. "What's it to you?" He asked, suddenly defensive over her "Little girl."
"Just wondering..." I lied. Edward abruptly grabbed Bella's hand off my shoulder and said, "Bells, we probably should get back to hunting-the herd is moving north. Jacob, you should probably be getting back to the pack. They'll be wondering where you are." He said with a grin, pulling my Bella back towards their dinner. Bella gave me a sympathetic smile, kissed the top of my forehead and followed Edward back towards the clearing. I snarled under my breath- why wasn't that me? Instead of- of...him. They left as quickly as they came, as always. Once back in the meadow, arriving closer to the Cullens', I stared into a puddle, where it had started to rain. The reflection in the puddle, it didn't seem like me...my hair long overgrown, and my stench badly reeked of vampire. To be honest, they (meaning the Cullens) weren't the worst- I mean, Doc was all right, Alice-okay, Emmett and Jasper I could live with, Rosalie-just forget her, but Edward. Don't even get me started, I could go for days, he almost killed Bells; now she's some stinky vampire, but deeo down, I know somewhere...she's always my Bella.
