Have you ever been in a love hate relationship?

Have you ever had a relationship with someone that you had a crush on where you just dont know if you love them or hate them? Sometimes they're funny and sweet and awesome and then other times they just crush you? Is there any way you know what your true feelings are?
I've been there before, and I reeally hate that stage.
