I try so hard but for you it's not enough.
The things have changed so much lately,,
that it's hard to keep a hold on it sometimes.
I want you to be proud of me and
I don't want to be an embarrassment.
Know that I'll keep trying and do my best even when it's hard.
Although I don't always succeed.
