Jacob and Nessie Part 18 [short story]
POV-Jacob
My dad called me and said I HAVE to go home today. I think it was something about vampires. There is no way I can say bye to Ness'. I might just have to tell Edward and he'll tell her when I'm already there. That's a pretty good plan.
I had to find him.
"Hey Edward I need to talk to you"
"Ah... I see. So you want me to tell her you said goodbye."
"Pretty much man"
"Well safe travels" he took his hand out of his pockets like he was going to let me shake his hand. So I did. Then I phased to a wolf. It would take at least 1 day to get over there. It's a good thing I don't get that tired. I started running. The wind felt so good.
POV-Nessie
I just woke up and when I went to the kitchen to get breakfast Jake wasn't there. My mom walked in.
"Hey mom do you know where Jake is?"
"Um...no. I would ask your father." I went to go find dad. He finally showed up.
"Hey dad. Do you know where Jacob is?"
"Oh yeah I was supposed to tell you"
"Tell me what!!??"
"He went back to Forks today."
POV-Jake
I made it back to Forks today. I phased back because I felt like walking. I went to the park and just sat there for at least a hour. I felt guilty leaving her just like that. Maybe I should have said bye to her myself. My phone buzzed. I thought it was Nessie, but no...Sam.
You have to come to your house. Now!
I ran there as fast as I could thinking it was those vampires that my dad was talking about. When I got there it was Paul pacing in front of my house. Then I heard a girls voice screaming on the top of her lungs.
"Paul, what's happening?!?"
"Rachael is having the baby" Gosh. I totally forgot that she was pregnant. And then I smelt something...
Author can you guess what he smelt???? PLEASE comment!
