New Born and the Cullens (Chapter Seventeen)

I played for hours. I played when Edward left to put Renesmee to sleep who consistently begged to sleep here so she could fall asleep to my music. Alice fixed flowers and vases, dancing to my music. I closed my last song and headed into the next room with Emmet and a TV and couch. I sat next to Emmet and for once he wasn't watching sports. He was watching MTV or something.

"Wow. You aren't watching sports? That's new." I commented.

"Yeah. I was thinking, why watch it, when I can wrestle my youngest sis?" He chuckled.

"Oh? Come on. Outside. Now." I smirked.

"Oh yeah. It's on!" He ruched outside and I did as well. We stopped by the river again. An audience gathered around us.

"Ready? One, Two..."

"Ha! I beat you again!" I yelled.

"You cheated! You bit me!" He lifted his arm.

"It was on accident! At least it didn't have any venom!" I yelled back. Carislisle checked his bite.

"Emmet, it's perfectly fine. It will heal by tomorrow evening." He assured him.

"I will beat you! No 15 year old will defeat me! none of my sisters will beat me!" He growled.

"Oh Emmet. You won't give up will you?" Bella and I both said. We both giggled. We all (including the audience) headed inside.

"Venus, your eyes are a bit bright. Did you hunt while you were out?" Carislile asked me once I sat down.

"Oh! Well.... yes. I did. I'm sorry."

"As a Cullen would you be willing to hunt animals instead?"

"Oh! Yes. I think I can sacrifice that one thing. After all you guys have done, I will have no problem with that."

"Thank you." He said. I shot up and pranced over to the computer. I entered Facebook and logged in. My profile picture was of me in Italy. I wanted to update my status to "Newborn Vampire! Say hello to Venus Cullen!" That would be dumb. Heh. I scrolled down and noticed my comments. A lot of the comments were in Italy, mostly saying we miss you and hope you return home soon or Have you seen her? I was a missing person in Italy.

"Are you alright?" Jasper's voice came from behind me, and before I could spring up and snarl, I felt really calm.

"Yeah... just... everyone at home thinks I'm dead or missing. I just... miss all of my friends. And family. But, I can never see them again. Ever." A wave of grief covered me.

"Don't worry. We're your family now." I smiled. I logged out and joined my family.
