it's true new moon is sad because Edward does live. and when rosalie tell himthat bella was dead he calls. to figer out if that is true but there is a problem the one who answers is jacob. edward told him that he was carlisle had he ask 4 charlie. but jacob told him that he was at a funeral so edward thought it was true. but bella and alice goes to the rescue to stop edward to do samething he will regrete. and my favorter part of the whole book is when edward come back to forks and at the end of the book he propos to her and what i dont like is that she say no.

the book is awesome, but, yes, kinda sad.

most of the books are sort of based on different classics.
This one was romeo and juliet.

edward leaves bella because he thinks shes in danger with the cullens around.
most of the book is bella's depression. You get to know jacob better though.

New Moon is wonderful.. although not one of my favourite books (not enough) Edward... it fills you with a ton of emotions... you'll love it when you get the chance to read it... I hope you get the chance before you see the movie however I did like the Twilght better as a book... trust me it will be well worth the wait... : )

New Moon is actually really sad, Edward leave Bella in order to protect her from vampire life. During his Absence Bella bonds with her new friend Jacob Black, they become quick easy friends. When Edward gets wrong information from Rosalie he goes to the Volturi so they can kill him. He does this because Rosalie tells him that Bella has died. Eventually Bella and Alice race to Italy to get Edward before he dies or goes through with his plan. In the end Edward comes back.
