New Moon Trailer Piggybacks on The Proposalby Troy Rogers

Twilight Saga fans will be happy to know that the trailer for the Twilight sequel New Moon has been confirmed to run as one of the previews with the advance screening of the Sandra Bullock toplined comedy, The Proposal. Interestingly, Twilight fans who are eagerly awaiting the November 20 theatrical release of New Moon will be giving a huge boost to any movie that the New Moon trailer is attached to as a preview.

Much like how the middle of the road Adam Sandler movie, The Waterboy, saw gargantuan box-office numbers thanks to the trailer preview for The Phantom Menace back in 1999, a potential for a windfall is in the cards for The Proposal. As reports, the theatrical trailer for New Moon was seen by those who attended an advance screening of The Proposal, which hits theaters on Friday, June 19, 2009.

According to, a Twilight Saga reader of the website revealed that they witnessed the New Moon trailer during the screening, also mentioning that the New Moon trailer looks even better on the big screen than it did during the MTV Movie Awards, stating, "I just thought I’d let you know, because there has been a lot of speculation as to when they would start putting out the trailer for New Moon... I SAW IT TONIGHT AT THE THEATRE. It was AWESOME! I went to see the sneak peak of The Proposal (which by the way is a hilarious movie, go see it) and it was the first movie trailer ..."

Given how so much is being made of the New Moon trailer, we're hoping Summit Entertainment releases at least ten of them since this one Twilight sequel preview will be viewed at least 100 million times. After watching the New Moon trailer three or four times, there's not much else to say.

Twilight Make-up to Offer New Moon Lips of Robert Pattinson in a Bottle?
by Troy Rogers

Since the release of Twilight in 2008, we’ve seen everything from Twilight Saga T-shirts, Twilight action figures, and plush toys to the Twilight DVD and posters. But that’s just the tip of the Twilight Saga merchandise iceberg as the Stephenie Meyer based Twilight sequel, New Moon, creeps closer to its November theatrical release. Still, the scramble is on to find the next great Twilight product tie-in and the latest is a Twilight Saga make-up line that may be the next big Twilight thing that New Moon fans embrace.

As word of the new Twilight make-up line comes down the New Moon pike, we can't think of too many Twilight fans, especially the younger Twilighters, who wouldn’t want to apply the same make-up used in New Moon to give the vampire characters that anemic, full-lipped look. Whether this turns out to be a huge Twilight Saga marketing boom remains to be seen, but all Twilight fanatics out there will be able to get their hands on a Twilight inspired make-up line from DuWop, the same company that gave us Lip Venom and supplied the cosmetics to the New Moon production and gave Robert Pattinson those blood red lips.

According to recent online reports, it appears the Twilight version of Lip Venom will be separated so that half of the plumper will look like blood, which means it won’t be long before everyone we pass on the street will either look like they bit their lip or just slurped back a cherry popsicle.

So now that we’ll be able to get the same lips as Robert Pattinson from New Moon, where will all of this Twilight merchandise make-up lead? It's certainly possible that by the time the third Twilight Saga film, Eclipse, is in full production swing, we'll see a huge real life Cullen clan of Twilight fans with blood red lips with accompanying pale white vampire foundation. Perhaps the early Bella Swan look of Kristen Stewart may be the better way to go in the end.

And for everyone who knows me, I am Team Edward all the way... but I saw this pic of Jacob and had to give him his props for his nice little body! I included Edward as well... who looks better? My vote is for Edward!

New Moon Calendar with New Official Image! June 18, 2009 · Comments

in Merchandise
Here’s the very first picture of the upcoming Official New Moon Calendar, including a never-before seen arrangement of the three main characters that is similar to the official New Moon poster, but the characters are arranged differently.

In this new imagery from New Moon, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black is in the center looking straight at the camera and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen are looking to the side behind him.

The calendar is set to be released later this year in September or October.
