New Moon was a disappointment

So I saw the New Moon flick with my friends at the premiere. We were all excited and hoped that it was good...

Sorry to say this, but I didnt like how the movie was made. One of the things I liked about the twilight saga was that it was so romantic and the only books I thought had the best love stories (so far).

Kristen Stewart was so bad in New Moon, i felt like she didnt portrayed Bella the way she should have done. She could at least understand her pov. The Volturi part, I didnt like the fighting scene and I had a very different image how the entire place was supposed to be. If it was up to I would make it more darker, more black cloaks to all the vampires.
To compensate for removing the fighting scene I would put more thrill and fear to scare the twifans instead of giving them the alternative entertainment like action - so clichè! But what is done is done, lets just hope the next movie will be better.

New Moon is heavy on realtionship built between jacob and bella, lots was cut from book to make movie, i understand the book is huge- so make a three hour movie, i wouldn't mind. Some things did dissapoint me, didn't think it was necessary to have bella sitting at window with the camera circling aroun and around...weird..they tried TOO hard with the acting the allt he bright deep colors and make up... First movie, made on lower budget, did better for me.. I still like New Moon just wish some things little different.

I wish there was a way to get the author to see these and get the first director to finish the movies.!!

There is much detail concerning Jacob and Bella that they bleep out only because of the Edward <3 bella fans. it makes me sick because more than half of New moon is the story of how jacob and bella kick off their relationship and how it gets complicated between them which further continues into the next books. i respect jacobs character because he is still around bella in the following books though it kills him to see her with edward. he is loyal and so much better for her than edward. and they got rid of all of! the whole bike scene? there is a lot that happens in there, howthey get to know each other and they make it go by in about a minute or two by playing a song! that's so stupid to do. idk.

dare i mention the whole part where bella is sittingin the seat by the window and they circle her four times showing us all the time that has passed. so much happens in that time, her and trying to still fit in with life, stuff with her friends, jacob a little bit. big chunks of the story were cut out! and it really upset me.

it was good...no doubt. it had it's strong points but justl like twiligh, i'm dissapointed.

I agree that the movie wasn't romantic for the most part, but like one of the other comments, the book wasn't either. I am very interested in seeing how Eclipse is going to turn out. Can't wait. Think it should be good as well.

Comment by Michael on December 9, 2009 at 5:22am: I actually liked the movie and thought it was better than the first. And the fighting scene gave guys something to munch on. You wanted New Moon to be romantic? The book isn't even romantic, its about Bella's broken heart.
I thought they did a great job with the movie.

I was wondering if the movie needs Cathrine Hardwicke. So it has as much as emotion as it is in Twilight. Too much nonesense actions in this New Moon Movie...
