Preface

Treason

It was all like a nightmare that we could never escape. I felt fear not only for myself but for my son Jake and my husband Nate. It happened on a normal night in June. I heard crickets and it was very humid. I took a cold shower and headed for bed. I was peacefully dreaming then I felt a presence. Suddenly I feel a sharp pain. I woke up and saw blood pouring out of me bright and crimson. Then I look up to see my husband dead. I look up to see who did this.

I gasp in horror to see one of my old best friend’s. He had sharp fangs protruding out of his crimson gums. “Anthony why” I gasp as I slowly die. Or so I thought. Only I know what happened that night.
