I certainly don't have anything against nicknames. If I'm in on them and they're not a convenience to the media in their busy lives while they invade my privacy.

Its the press who does these things..like referring to Taylor L and Taylor S as Taysquared, Brad and Angelina as Brangelina and the like. We should put ourselves above what the press does to make our favorite actors miserable and generic. It's the name of a person that seperates them from everyone else and to make it shorter for convenience takes away something essential to them as individuals. They are not what the press says they are, they're who they say they are and Robert Pattinson says he's Robert. (smiles gently)
