Renesmee Chapter 1

"Wurthering Hights?" Jacob asked, picking the book up off the counter beside me. "Again?"

"Yes." I snapped, grabbing the book from his hand. "It's my favorite. Even after reading it over one hundred times, I still like reading it."

"Yea, yea. So what are you bringing to Seth's party?"

Seth's birthday was today and all of the wolf pack was going to be there. Making enough chille for 6 wolves was going to be tough. I sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm afraid I'm not going to make enough for you all. You guys, and girl, eat enough to feed all of Washington." I told him, putting the meat in the pot.

He kissed my forehead. "You aren't the only person bringing something. Remember that. "

"I know, but still." I opened the frig and got out a two liter Pepsi. "Here, this one is yours." I smiled.

"Thank you. I'm dying of thirst." He smiled and opened it, taking a swig so large half of it was gone when he was done. "Ahh." he smiled, "So, what's all going in the chille?" He asked, sticking his head in the pot.

I pulled his head out by his hair and laughed. "Meat, beans, green peppers, onion. Just your normal stuff. Why?"

"It already smells good. I don't know if I can wait 3 hours before I get a bite."

"You'll be fine." I smiled and stired in the rest of what was on the counter.

"Jacob. I thought you would be over at Seth's helping them get ready for the party?" Mom came through the back door.

Everyone says I look more like her than I do Edward. I see her baby pictures and mine side by side all the time, and if it wasn't for our names on the back you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. But I don't mind.

"Hey Honey, what are you making?" She walked over and put her hand on my back, lookin over my shoulder and into the pot.

"Chille, and hey Mom." I said and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hello, Jacob. Suprising seeing you here today. You aren't helping the Clearwaters?" Dad came in and kissed my on the back of my head. "Hey Renesmee."

Hey, Dad." I smiled.

"No, sir. But I came to see if Renesmee needed any help. After all, making enough food for us can be a challange." He smiled.

"That's true." He smiled back.

My dad and Jake were getting along now. They accepted what happened and respect it to a point. My mom and Jake had gotten along for a while now. One big happy family, right?

"We are going down to La Push in a couple hours. I wan't to be able to visit with Seth before everyone else gets there. Would that be okay?" I asked turing around and facing them.

"Sure." Mom smiled and looked at Edward.

"I guess it would be okay." He said looking at Jacob. I knew that look. That "You better bring her back in the same condition she left in" look.

"Seth!" I yelled and waved.

He smiled back and charged for me. "Nessie!" He pick me up and hugged me. Seth was like my brother. Well he is my uncle now. Charlie and Sue married over the summer, making him my step uncle. But he was still my brother. "Hey Ness. How are you?"

"Good. Happy Birthday, Bro." I smiled and punched him on his shoulder.

"Thanks." He smiled. "Hey Jacob. How's it going Dude?"

"It's going. Happy Birthday. I wrote a little song for you." He smiled.

"Oh, did you." Seth laughed.

"It's your birthday, here's your song and now your song is over."

We all laughed as Leah walked over. "Renesmee, how are you."

"Good. Thanks." I smiled.

We got along. She never really liked me. After all, I was the one who started everything that happend last year.
Mom almost died, Jake left the pack, Edward had to turn mom, ect. Everything was my fault, and I will never forgive my self.

"Renesmee?" Jake asked. "Are you okay? Wait are you thinking about it again?"

"No." I lied. I had been thinking about it alot lately. It was never something I couldn't think about.

"Ness." Seth sighed. "You know that if you asked everyone, they would tell you "I would do it all over again if it ment you were the reason". You know they wouldn't have it any other way."

"I know." I sighed "I'm sorry." I smiled at them.

"You better be." Jake took me hand. "Let's go have some fun."
