Stephenie and Breaking Dawn -- Children's Choices!

The votes are in and teens across the country have voted Breaking Dawn the Children's Choice Book of the Year and Stephenie Meyer the Children's Choice Author of the Year. The awards were announced at a swanky event in the heart of New York City last evening. Stephenie unfortunately could not attend, but several people from Little, Brown were there to share in the celebration. Check out some (very amateur) photos from the event. We hope to have some more professional pics for you soon!

The winners of last night’s awards were featured on the TODAY SHOW this morning, click here to see the great mention of Breaking Dawn and Stephenie!

Thank you all for your support and votes - this would not have been possible without you!

Stephenie's Editor Megan Tingley accepts on her behalf

i used to only read for skool, but this was a series i read for fun thx so much stephanie. I really hope that u continue the series because if you read the discussion about continuing the series there are A LOT of people that want the series to continue. dont let some idiot that decided to put part of new moon out ruin your passion of writing books that people cant put down.(Not to mention if u didnt there would be a millions maybe even billions of devestated girls in the world.) If your still not sure whether to write a continuation and from edwards vantage point then u should definetly look out our discussion about the continuation and midnight sun. That should definetly provoke u!
p.s.- i hope that everyones signed the midnight sun page. If we get 50 people to sign it stephanie will agree to continue writing midnight sun! I know for a fact everyone here wants her to keep writing midnight sun!!!

The whole saga is wonderful Steph! Thank you for this! Haven't read something I couldn't put down since Terry Goodkind! Please let us have this Midnight Sun book that people are talking about. Please don't steal it from us!

i'm not sure these should be qualified as childrens books...my 11 yr old niece is reading them and loves them...shes on the 3rd one now...but i warned her mom not to let her read the last one until she reads it herself...my sister is pregnant right now and i think it would be disturbing for my niece.
