The Twilight Saga

Hey everyone, I think it's time for another book!
The book I chose is The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.
We will be reading that from August 20- August 27.
I apologize to anyone if they are not able ringer the book yet- I meant to post this earlier but got sidetracked.
Also sometime for sure this week I will post a blog for the Team Logo contest. ( I'm able to use a laptop now =))

So look out for the book discussion on The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner sometime next week.

I read this book last night. Learning about Bree's character and knowing the outcome made it difficult for me to read this without sadness. I was caught off guard when I read about the Volturi's involvement with Victoria and her scheme. It literally mad me gasp and then enraged me. I am amazed; I feel Stephenie Meyer is truly gifted to be able to incite such emotions in her readers. I have never been so emotionally attached to fictional characters as I am to the ones from her books. I am not referring to the school girl crushes many of you have on Edward or Jacob. I relate to all of the characters including the not so appealing Volturi. I find myself pondering their thoughts and actions past Breaking Dawn. I hope in the years to come Stephenie enlightens us, for this fantastic story is far to wonderful to end.

I have read this book a zillion times! The spine on that book is weak now. Its been opened and closed so many times. I love the book though. Stephenie had the right idea when she wrote this book. It was nice to see how the army lived up til the fight. What Bree and Diego did. How the '"vampire police" played a part in this fight also. I hope she writes more of other vampire lives, that we dont know about. Like maybe about the Denail clan. What do they do up there in Alaksa? I <3 this book!

I agree with cris star. Reading book three in breaking dawn gave the impression that it was not what every newborn went through but, since we hadnt had the same POV as a real newborn yet, all we knew was bella and her time.

i've already read it and was amazing...i loved it...it's incredible how stephanie was able to connect both books, following the eclipse story with other story without any trace of blunder...
