this is just a mini story that i came up with tell me what you think

“Good things come to those who wait” we hear things like that concerning love, but what about people? Most girls wait for there knight and shining armor, most girls lose the one that might have been there true love, and then most girls just give up. Well this story is unlike any I’ve told before so grab a drink, a tissue box and a bag of popcorn, because this will have you at the edge of your seat.

On a brisk September morning in the halls of Crestview High School, a group of young adults walk through the hallway on there way to an end of the year celebration held in the gym, among them was a girl named Karista king. Karista was captain of the cheerleader squad, choreographer for the dance team and an all around good girl, her friend Patricia Coleridge was coe-captian and was always looking out for her best friend.
Karista always did have a weak spot for the boys or I should say the boys had a weak spot for her. One of these boys was her boyfriend, William Barker. Will was the schools quarter back for the varsity football team and a great boxer at the local gym. Karista and Will have been dating for two years, but somewhere inside her heart Karista had a special place for someone else. Another one of these boys was Jacob Ridgeway. Jacob has known Karista ever since middle school; he was the star player for the schools varsity basketball team and choreographer for the boy’s step- team in school. Jacob always had a fondness for Karista maybe even love her. Karista felt the same way but never showed it, she always played the ‘he’s just a friend’ card just to keep him at bay. The only thing was as close as Karista is to Jacob, him and Will never see eye to eye.

“Come on guys”-will
“We’re coming”- Patricia
“You can’t wait for anything can you, will?”-Jacob
“Why? You want to make something of it?”-Will asked, with his hand in a fist.
“Boys please not now or ever, this is our last day together as seniors in this school, and plus i'm not going to the party with you two fight all the time”-Karista said, her soothing voice clamed the both of them down.
“Your right, lets end this year off without you two bickering”-Patricia said
Will take Karista by her waist, as they walked in the gym, and Jacob watches in disgust.
“Hey Jake, you okay?”-Patricia asked
“Yeah, I’m fine”-Jacob
“I know how much you love her, but just wait.”-Patricia
“But how long do I have to wait? Pattie how long?”-Jacob
“Her cousin can read and see the future and she told me that that they wont last long”-Patricia
“How many weeks are we talking?”-Jacob
“Not week’s years”-Patricia said
“YEARS!!!???”-Jacob
“Yeah you’re just going to have to wait”-Patricia said
“I’ll wait, but I wont like it”- Jacob said, he rolled his eyes and walked in with Patricia.

*~~~The Graduation Party~~~*

That night all the seniors went to the hotel and partied it up like nobody’s business. With the party winding down and slow music playing karista had to have one more dance with her long time friend.
“Jake, may I have this dance?”-karista
“Yes you may”-Jacob answered, karista lead him out to the floor and began to dance with him.
“So what are you going to miss about school?”-Jacob
“Almost everything, the games, students, dances”-karista
“Really”-Jacob
“Yes why, what are you going to miss?”- Karista
“You”-Jacob
“Me? Why me?”-karista
“There is nothing more I would miss”-Jacob
“Jacob I have a question for you”-karista
“Yeah”-Jacob
“In the near future, if I’m ever in trouble will you find me?”-karista
“……yes, I promise”-Jacob
“Here’s something for you”-karista, pulled out a bracelet for Jacob with a jaguar charm on it.
He smiled and watched as Will took her outside for something that will change her life from that moment on.

*~~~4 years later~~~*
Will and karista were married, and lived in a single home next to the beach.
Will came home and sat on the couch, when karista walked in from the backroom.
“Hi will, how was your day?”-karista
“It would be better if you would shut up”-will
“Will…”karista
“What do you want? You working on my nerves, what?”-will
“I think I need to get out more”-karista
“You think. Why are you even thinking about that when you know the answer? I’ve told you time and time again that you are my property and I own you. You don’t go anywhere without telling me first”- will
“But if I could ju-”, will grabbed her by her neck and picked her up.
“have you lost your mind, don’t’ you ever talk back to me unless I ask you to. You know what I think? I think that if you leave this house you’ll never come back. Is that true?”-Will asked her, she couldn’t talk because will still had her by the neck.
“Oh I’m sorry”- will carelessly dropped her and gave her a chance to breathe and to answer his question.
“Well?”-will
“No it’s not true”-karista had tears in her eyes
“Ok for a second I was worried, I’m going out with the guys see you later tonight, I love you”- will said, karista sat on the floor and cried until she heard a loud noise coming from the back drive way. Karista ran to the back door to see will car on fire.
