What Did You Expect?

I sat on the stone wings out, testing my magical abilities when he came. "What took you so like Toi? I've been waiting here for an hour." I said, hearing the irritablity in my own voice. I flicked my fingers and a rock shattered beside him. Toi flinched away. I smirked. "Who or what are we after today, Vinny?" Toi snapped, making the mistake of coming closer, almost an arms length away. I grinned. "You heard about the girl who 'jumped' off the bridge? How would you like to pull another soul to hell?"

Just as I knew he would be, Toi was quite eager. He dressed himself up as a 'showman' and grabbed a fake newspaper and stood by the bridge telling people about the girl who 'jumped' off the bridge. I stood by, clothed as a village-folk, studing the girl who was hit the hardest with the news. I saw the Great Angel with her and wanted to see where this went. That night I made myself ghostly and in her sleep, I coazed her to follow me. "We were friends... weren't we Miu-chan? Thats why... we must die together." I whispered quietly, making my voice pleading but melodic. Miu started to tumble off the bridge when that stupid angel grabbed her.

"What the hell are you?" Renji snarled, looking up at me. "Your sure as hell not this girls friend." I made myself look bored. "What a shame." I said and turned back to normal. "Vinny!" He growled! Toi turned up on the bench. "Where's your partner oh mighty Angel?" Toi mused, smirking. He lunged at Renji and Renji jumped up over him and layed the girl down on the ground. I watched him and Toi fight for a while. He never loses himself, even in fighting... He's changed... I thought as Toi caught him with a long whip of Dark energy. Renji lay face down, the energy wrapped around him, keeping him from moving. I turned him over with my foot and crouched down. "I'm still not satisfied... lets end this!" Toi snarled. He made a blade of Energy and poised it, ready for the kill, just as a white, blinding energy hit him, throwing off. Renji's head snapped up and he grinned. "Kaito!" He called. "Quite the postion you've found yourself in, for being a rebellious angel." Kaito said, smirking. "You late. Lets go!" Renji said, more enthusiastic. "Don't get too cocky, just because theres one more of you." I purred, loosely dodging a punch he threw at me. "Are you really, an angel?" I whispered quietly. "It doesn't matter what I am," He snarled, his knuckles brushing roughly against my jaw. My turned sideways slightly. "I still see a devil, but now that I'm really looking what I really see..." I murmured. "Is a human." Renji froze and stared at me, his eyes somewhat softer. "Don't forget Vinny.... You and I, we were both humans once." He whispered, stepping forward, slowly.

I felt a swirling feeling in my stomache and felt some weight off my shoulder. I quickly regained my composure and made a way back to Hell. "I like you, so I won't kill you. We'll end it here today."
