When ever I read a book I always have a soundtrack that goes with it. Im such an obsessive when it comes to an album or a band that I like, Il get everything that they've done and find out all about them.
With twilight it was friendly fires and thier self titled album, they' re an indie electro mix and thier melodies are almost euphoric. It was the perfect sound track to a gripping romance like twilight and now whenever I read the book I hear the songs in my head wether im listening to them of not!
They were unknown when I was reading the book early last year so I was delighted when I heard they were playing in the city I live in! I bought tickets automatically ( I was seriously broke at the time a month of pasta and noodles ensued!) and the show was well worth it. The lead singers voice and the band were just as strong if not better than on the CD and what a dancer the lead ed mcfarlane is! I love a dancer!
The gig was awesome and me and my friends danced till our feet ached.
Right now iv been listening to the temper trap and reading moll flanders (I know an unsual combination right) the soft music lets me concentrate on the tough old english.
Im looking for a new book any suggestions?
