FRUSTRATED!!! or what. :(((... I'm just wondering if Mel or Caz could answer the question. Really sorry I couldn't help on this occasion. :(

Personally sometimes I think that young children from the age of 13 have heard far worse things than what has been printed, but rules are rules and sometimes they are stifling. :( The fact that he's flipping the bird maybe taken as vulgarity, that's all, and its the last thing we want is the group closed over something as trivial as that. That's all. Other than that I'm okay

You make an excellent point. Wasn't it interesting how Renee responded when she first learned of Bella and Edward's engagement?

She had previously said, R,Q: "You are like two planets that keep adjusting your orbits to circle around one another. And, "What took you two so long to get engaged ?" (both paraphrased)

And I agree with your second point that Edward and Charlie are bonded first by their mutual love for Bella and then their mutual love for Nessie.

I think you hit on the key point WE CAN ALL RELATE TO BELLA. Men and Women alike. Stephanie said that she choose to write about the teen years because everyone from 10 to 110 can relate to them they are sooo powerful. I am a man. ( former,captain of the football team, popular,affluent..I was smart enough to know that none of that meant anything) Did I feel out of place YES! Did I feel less than? YOU BET. Did I feel like "The stranger in the strange land. YES. I think that Stephanie hit a cord with virtually ALL "normal" people. And that is why we can all identify with her.

You say "We all have fallen in love with "unhealthy" partners. Sadly how true again.
