Those Trojan horse virus are really irritating!! I had one too and my dad had to throw everything away on the pc before it was gone and then he needed to put everything back on it... It took him almost two days!!

History went very well, I got 117/120 for the exam and my total score was (from a whole year) 91.5%
Maths was really hard, I had a total score of 58.5%, 0.5% more than the average... but I'm really happy with my results!!!
Have a great vacation!

It wasn't really my proclamation, it was the duty of our class to help their with the food and drinks... we had to go around with it, like a waiter...I don't know what to expect Tuesday... I know I did my best... So I hope it was enough...

I'm going to return my books today and tonight there's proclamation for the 6th year students and we have to go and help, going around with mini snacks and drinks... as if we've got nothing better to do...

You enjoy you vacation too!!

There is a lot more to see as well, a whole world! But choose a country with terrasjes because travelling is a thirsty business!

I'm glad you have fun plans for the summer holidays; You have plenty of time for travelling. I did my travelling in my twen years. I did travel when I was younger with my mum as well, but those were mainly trips to England to visit with the relatives there. There never was much money for trips, but a trip to the coast or to the Ardens were also very nice. And school trips were never to Paris or Keulen, more like to Antwerp and Brussels. So at 16 you have probably seen a lot more than I did at that age. The U.S. was nice but they do lack one essential thing: they have no "terrasjes" to sit out in the sun. the whole coastline of California and not one "terrasje". I did find one in Las Vegas but it was on the "Treasure Island" casino and represented an old fishingvillage. But it had a great view out on the "show" of the two ships fighting. Las Vegas was even better than Disney Land. (If you can keep away from the games rooms that is).

Wauw, criminology or psychology sound really interesting. Any jobs you prefere? Would you like to work with the police like doing character profiles of murderers or something? Or work with difficult children or so? If you do choose a profession like that it would be very good to be able to go out and sing as a outlet, and NooTuitgang is a really good name. You get advertisement in any public place, don't you? (haha)
Yes, changing the garden for the third time is a lot. It's just me. I seem to allways need something to look forward to; as soon as I finish a project I need something else to focus on or I get crazy. I used to put all this energy in planning trips, but now I don't travel anymore because I don't want to leave my mum by herself. So I change around my garden instead. (keeps me off the streets I suppose, haha)
Never mind, I didn't see the louvre either when i went to Paris. It is such a big place you'd need the whole day and still not see a lot. I prefered seeing Montmartre and the Eifeltower and the Champs Elysees and I also visited Versailles. I was there only two days as well, but I saw a lot. I allways travel well prepared. I look everything up in books before I go. When I travelled through the Southwest U.S. I was so well prepared I even recognised the rocks we passed with the bus; I would go: "That is Mexican Hat and there are The Three Gossips" and people would go: "What is she on about?"
Anyway, I hope you have a really nice time in Keulen. I never went there, but I do use Eau de Cologne. (haha)
Have fun!

So what do you want to do later? Anything with singing? I never knew what I wanted to do after finishing school. School didn't help much in career orientation in my days either. It was as if the only jobs available for girls were nurse, secretary or teacher. I didn't fancy any of those. I was good with languages so I decided to go for vertaler/tolk. Only I didn't really fancy doing that either. But the only other thing i would have liked doing was theology, but since I didn't want to teach, that was a dead (carreer) end too. I have been lucky that I have loved working in the shop, but if I could start over I think I would have gone for electrician or plumber or maybe builder... I love working with my hands. Those were men's jobs in my days, no girl would have been encoraged to persue those careers. Now ofcourse, girls do and I envy them.
I did do the plans for my own house and am really proud of it but I would have been prouder still if I could have helped built it. Still, I do my garden. I've done terraces and brick paths and the whole digging and planting thing. So far (in the 20 years that I've lived here) I have redone my garden 3 times. And that is completely redoing it! Only, now that I'm past 50, it just takes that little longer. But I'll get there. I'll soon have lots of time on my hands, so there is no rush.
Anyway, I'm rambling again, aren't I? Don't worrie if you can't respond straight away. School comes first and I do know cramming for exams is not as easy as you make it sound. By the way, how was Paris?
