I love that song too. I found this and I'm pretty sure that's the meaning behind that song.

You don't have to be sorry, why were you up so early? I missed you too but i thought you didn't want to talk yesterday so I didn't send more mails. I'm sorry I didn't want you to be upset or hurt.
