I should clarify. Dawn of the Phonix isn't my first fan fic, but I didn't start writing until this year (2009). My first attempt was chapter 8 in Eclipse from EPOV back in February... then I did a few more and I was hooked. Since then I've writen a few pieces - some longer and a couple stand alones... I don't know why, but something just clicked with me when I started writing!

If by "real life" you mean the thing I do to pay the bills, then no, I'm not a writer. I'm an accountant working for a school board, which I also enjoy. I just discovered writing this year after I got into Twilight. I hadn't written anything before. It's what I do as a stress reliever. :-)
