yea if you ask him you'll REALLY look like the bad guy then.... or the really controlling type... never a good idea. but he should have deleted it on his own. no one keeps their ex's number, at least for a while

T_T that sux.... that happened to me in 8 th grade when i broke up with my boyfriend... people actually told me that i had a black hole where my heart should be.... but anyway, it'll pass even if you don't go w/ him. something worse will happen to someone else and people will forget about it. did you tell him that he totally blew his chance?
