Thanks for requesting me :). Yeah, I just turned 30 last month. And all of my best friends have been met through a common love of Twilight, even though I've never met any of them in real life. They're much closer to me than other friends, though. Anyway, thanks again!
Hi there. Your welcome. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Well it's 1:37 am here right now....way to late for me but I was packing today because I, hubby and son are leaving for a holiday tomorrow. It's almost a three hours drive soooo.....LOL. Normally I'm not often here this time of the day. Not sure how much I will be able to logg on when I'm on holiday but will be back next Friday. I'm going to get some sleep now. Anyway thanks for the friends request. I hope you have a good day. :) Inge.xx
Yes, I did write four novels and that was one of the greatest things that have ever happened to me. One day, after reading a crap novel, I decided I could do better and started writing a short story... it ended up being a trilogy, LOL. Stuff just kept happening to my herione. It really felt as if the characters were alife and did and said all the things they did. The funny part was that I didn't know where the story would go next, as if I was reading it instead of writing it. And, right at the end, I was surprised once more by a twist in the plot. It was a great experience and I hope I will be able to write more once again.
For the moment my life is in such turmoil that I have no inspiration to write. For one, I lost my job last year. A job I loved and filled for 32 years of my life. That was hard but even worse is the fact that my mother has Alzheimer and I have looked after her but it gets harder and harder every day. One positive thing has helped me through these trying times: I have fallen in love. After being single for my entire life, I fell in love at 53 and it is just wonderfull. Never knew what I missed out on. Sometimes real life tops fiction as you can see.
I live in the Northern part of Belgium: Flanders. As you may know there are 3 official languages in my country and we have to learn them all in school. My mothertongue is flemmish ofcourse. I can't say I'm fluent in French or German anymore through lack of use. I am quite fluent in English but that is because I have relatives in England and Australia. I took Spanish up as well but there is even less opportunity to practice that language.
My boyfriend is from Holland and visits every weekend. He has a two hour drive each way, so I'm quite certain he loves me. haha
Thanks for your comment. I haven't been online here in ages as well. But it's so nice to hear from you again. I don't know if you know this, but 9 months ago I gave birth to a son. I'm so busy with my two lovely children that I hardly have time to come here and discuss several topics. Though I do have so lovely news, in about an hour I'm going to pick up a friend from the airport! I'm really exited to finally meet here! I wish you all the best and hopefully we'll keep in touch :).
Hi Rita,
My husbands name is Edwin too like Kealyn. we have been married 50 years in April
Which story do you like the best on the twilight saga? My daughter is writing
Indian Summer so I am a bit bias. I live in Sun City AZ taking care of my 91 year old mother. I have directed a musical but it was a far cry from what you have done.
I love to read, I got me a embroidery machine and it is so much fun, I garden and cook with solar.
I'm doing fine, and how are you? I am leaving soon so that I can start prepare the food.
And you've been married for more then 50 years! Congratulations. I've got married on March, 24 this year. And I truly hope I'll be married for fifty years and more as well! :).
My husband is truly my Edward.
