Thank you Doc B MD for the awesome reply and I actually have tried to imagine the difficulty that Edward Cullen placed himself in with Bella at the meadow. Even his sister Alice was giving him caution and warning not to do this.
As with any addiction his analogy to Bella that she was like his own personal heroin was only the tip of the ice-berg.
I found it also interesting that the more he exposed himself to Bella's space he had better control. This made me think about food, such as dunkin donuts or any place that you really enjoy and if you are there every day your less likely to to be tempted. Of course heroin is not food.

Honey and I bought a young Boston Terrier "years ago" His name was Mr. B. And Mr B loved to love. Each morning he would ask you to hold him, just so that he could stare at you, with his big sparkly eyes and say, "I love You." Last week he got a dreadful eye infection, and one of his eyes had to be removed. I would tease him, and call him my pirate dog! But he still wanted his morning hug. And as I did each day as I did, he would search around with his one eye until he could look directly into mine and say "I love you." Mr B, died yesterday. After I closed his sparkly eye for the last time, and held him as Honey drove us to the pet cemetery. I kept thinking about Stephanie's message over and over. Love is Love is Love. lolRB
