Jenna: Hearing him tell her that most people in his school were unfriendly and picked on people, made her even more nervous. She didnt want to be an outcast, like she always was. She didnt want people to pick on her.She simply smiled when he said that he was a great guesser. Alot of things were running in her mind. " Are they friendly to new students ? " She smiled at him sheepishly, hoping the answer would be a 'yes'. Eating her last bite, she sat her fork down and places her chin on her hand, looking at him
Returning back to her sketch, Coraline readjusted herself comfortably within the esge of the couch. Exhaling from her nose, she turned her head the other way to face Jefferson before waving her hand at him.
"Goodbye, nice to meet you too." She replied as they left the house. Closing the door after them, Peyton started to walk at him side, sliding her hands into her pockets to keep them warm. Looking up at him as he spoke, she didn't expect him asking for insight, so much as she didn't even know what to say. Pausing for a moment to think something out to say, she opened her mouth to answers.
"There's been a sudden spike in the amount of gangs around here so it's just good to always be careful." Especially at this time of night. Although it really was her morning, humans loved to come out and this time and spread havoc when no one could look.
"It's nothing of your concern though so don't worry too much about it." She added at the end, nodding her head quickly.
Looking up at Jefferson, Peyton nodded her head slightly at him.
"Yup, I'm definitely ready to go." Making her way back over to the door she looked over at Coraline, now more nuzzled into a corner of the couch as she drew. "I'll be back home whenever." She announced over to her, receiving a wave in reply. Before she stepped out the door, Coraline turned her head towards Peyton before speaking.
"Just be careful when you come back home."
"I always am." The younger vampire replied, seeming confused at her friend's warning.
"I know you are but don't let your guard down. Supposedly it's getting worse for us out there. Just watch your back, alright?"
Processing Coraline's words, Peyton nodded her head at her, physically and mentally preparing herself in case she did get attacked. "See you later." Opening up the door, she walked out, holding the door open for Jefferson. "You coming?"
Looking up from her sketchbook, Coraline was alert enough to detect another presence with Peyton. She watched the younger woman pass her to place the bottle down on the counter in the kitchen. She sniffed slightly, the faint smell of alcohol passing through her nostrils and she almost felt drunk already from it. Of course, with the blood in the liquor, it diluted it and they really didn't even get all that drunk; it almost gave their blood flavor so to speak.
"Oh right. Jefferson, this is my roommate and friend, Coraline. Coraline, Jefferson." She called over her shoulder before rummaging through the papers on the counter top for money. Find a twenty, she slid it into her back pocket, just in case she needed money for something before reentering the living room.
"Thank you." Coraline replied in an almost monotone voice to the compliment on her rough sketch. It was probably due to the stress she felt on this particular piece and how every little thing had to be perfect otherwise her commissioners wouldn't accept it and she wouldn't be paid. She regretted practicing art because of these situations sometimes.
Jenna: " I'm a sophomore. Sadly ". She wished that she was a senior, just so she could be in the same year as him. " Are the people there friendly ? " She was really nervous to be strating school. The main reason was the fact that her dad knows which school she was going to, and he might go and find for her. She cant be hiding from him forever. The very thought of her father, made her sad all over again. Mustering up a smile, she look at james. " You're the only friend i have ".
Jenna: She loved how carefree and playful he was. For once, someone actually did put a smile on her face. Laughing at his analogy, she reached for the chocolate syrup and poured a generous amount, soaking the pancakes. Next, she sprinkled over chocolate chips. This was just the way she liked it. Using her fork and spoon, she tucked in,placing the first bite in her mouth. It was heavenly. The pancake was very fluffy and tasty. She had to stop hersf from moaning at how good the pancakes were. Realising that james was so there, she cut a piece and held it out to him. " Open your mouth, big boy " Looking at him, she was positive that she was developing feelings for him.
The first time Peyton was ever asked that question about food once she turned, she blurted out quickly that she was a bulimic. She felt like such an idiot afterwards but she was glad to scare away whoever questioned her about her eating habits. But now, with more experience from then, she didn't feel weird about those typical types of questions.
"To be honest I can't remember the last time I've eaten a home cooked meal." Well, she was telling the truth and that definitely wasn't a lie. Blood had a distant taste that she couldn't match with anything else so the reminisce of eating was long gone. "What's your favorite thing to eat?"
Pulling her keys out, Peyton unlocked the door of the house and poked herself in first, scanning the living room. Once it was cleared, for only Coraline was still in her artist mode on the sofa, she walked inside, motioning for Jefferson to follow her in.
Jenna: " Yes please " Hopping down from the counter, she leaned back instead, crossin her ankles. " Soo..what year are you in in school ? " She just wanted to make a small talk with him, to avoid any awkward situations. She was hoping that he would be in the same year as her, as he is the only friend that she have. She was going to start school on monday, and she had no choice, but to go as a new student. She was dreading it.
