Glad that Jefferson took the water from her, Peyton smiled at him before hopping onto the counter.
"That's good, you get a break. Besides, no lowlife kids harassing you or whatever." Last thing he needed was for some loser kids trying to be cool and stealing candies from the store, only for him to have to go after them with a baseball bat or something.
"So am I! The mornings sucked." Literally. She'd die in the morning so it was a given she didn't like them. "I'm much more lively at night anyway; there's more things to do." Like go out and go to adult clubs or whatever. Yeah... that was fun.
"At the library." Peyton shrugged her shoulders. "It seemed easy enough for me."
Chris smiled slightly, looking over at him for just a second. "Do you?" She asked curiously. Its just they have been together for awhile now and he did show ways that he loved her but did he really mean it is what she wanted to know.
Emily bit her lip. She wanted so many kids and as soon as possible. " I want a bunch. I'd get three jobs if I had too." She said watching her fkio the pancakes on the plate. She pinched off a piece and ate it
Smiling at him, Peyton was glad that Jefferson had an easy day working. She had a feeling once she started up her job, it would be the same. Who comes to a library at 10:30 at night? Pretty much no one except commuting college students that needed to get work finished in a quiet place. That or she'll just have to organize books and stuff, she internally grimaced at that. Knowing her luck on the first day she'll have no idea where any of them went and just leave them all in a cart for someone else to do for her.
"Sounds fun, could have been worse and gotten a whole rush hour of people coming in for little pick me ups."
People still went to those types of stores for cigarettes or coffee so there was always some sort of business going on.
Decent, I think I may have a job now at night which is actually really great." She replied with a hint of pride toward it. And well, it gave her money and something to do now, she needed those two things desperately.
