Turning around to face Jefferson, she watched him quietly as he settled himself down. Zoning out slightly, she snapped her head back up into attention to him.
"Oh no, it's alright. I'm kind of cold already." She admitted, pulling her coat in a bit closer to her. "Thank you though." She added, wanting to sound polite. Looking around, she felt almost awkward being here and she looked around everywhere.
"So..." She started, biting her lower lip gently. "Now what?"
Jenna: She was sure that she had heard wrongly. " You..you..you..like..me ? " Just saying those words were a struggle. She was really glad if he really like her, and wasnt lying about it. However, thinking fully about it, she was really going to be a buden towards him. Not only was the age gap between them was two years, she also wasnt a normal teenager like everyone else. She had no idea how to mix around and have fun. She wasn't beautiful like other girl's. She wasn't pure anymore as her father had stolen that away from her. " I do..I do like you. But how can you ? " Thinking of it, she was almost on the verge of crying and she hated herself for always being a cry baby.
Exhaling, half in relief she really didn't have to go deeper into the issue, Peyton nodded her head quickly at Jefferson. It was refreshing and nice to know he cared about her well being, she didn't want him to have to be responsible for her, especially if he's known her for only a few days. She didn't need to be a burden to him either! Smiling at him for letting her inside, she walked in through the garage, waiting for him quietly to open up the door to the house.
Jenna: She simply kept quiet. He was like a mind reader. Eventhough she liked him, he already had someone else in mind, so there was no point. Smiling at him, she walked to the couch at the living roon and plopped down.
Jenna: She wasn't going to admit it eventhough it was the last resort. Laughing, she avoided his tickles by stepping bacwards. " No i dont. I don't like you " She said teasingly. " You're just convincing yourself " She stuxked out her tongue at him.
Jenna: She was slightly shocked when he questioned her. She wasnt expecting that at all. " No. No i'm..not. Why would i be ? " She answered carefully, removing her hands and folding them across her chest. She was definitely jealous. Whoever that girl was, she was a lucky one. She wished she had someone to love her. Getting down from the chair, she stood around the counter.
Jenna: She simply nodded her head. " Do you really like her ? " She couldnt help but to ask more and more. Whay was so special about the girl, that made him like her?. She had to find that out. She didnt usually open up and like people as easily as she did with james. Therefore, her liking him was a big deal to her. She was quite dissapointed and upset that that girl was definitely not her, because she wasn't beautiful and such. " Sorry..for..asking. " She didnt want him to know that she was interested.
Jenna: Hearing him say that he had an eye of someone had her really jealous. Now, she surely had no chance with him. " So..are you really close that girl ? " She asked him, making sure that she didnt sound interested or jealous. However, it did show up a little bit. How can she be so stupid to think that an attractive guy like him, would be totally free and had no girl in mind. Crossing her legs, she lifted herself up and sat down on her hands. It was just a habit or her's whenever she was feeling dejected and irritated.
Jenna: " You have to come with me tomorrow. Please " She was almost begging him. The very thought of being put down by anybody else scared her. Standing up, she took her empty plate to the sink and washed it. After she was done, she went to sit across from him, smiling. His very presence could cheer her up. " Do u have a girlfriend ? " She asked because she was simply curious.
"Well yes that's a given." Peyton replied, thinking on how to reword what she just said as she walked down the sidewalk with Jefferson. "You shouldn't all be that concerned because like most other's they really don't pay much attention to men, unless you're rich."
And that really was half of the truth. The royal men were always a catch but the females were more important. She wouldn't say too much though and make Jefferson have an elephant about her well being.
Jenna: Hearing him tell her that most people in his school were unfriendly and picked on people, made her even more nervous. She didnt want to be an outcast, like she always was. She didnt want people to pick on her.She simply smiled when he said that he was a great guesser. Alot of things were running in her mind. " Are they friendly to new students ? " She smiled at him sheepishly, hoping the answer would be a 'yes'. Eating her last bite, she sat her fork down and places her chin on her hand, looking at him
Returning back to her sketch, Coraline readjusted herself comfortably within the esge of the couch. Exhaling from her nose, she turned her head the other way to face Jefferson before waving her hand at him.
"Goodbye, nice to meet you too." She replied as they left the house. Closing the door after them, Peyton started to walk at him side, sliding her hands into her pockets to keep them warm. Looking up at him as he spoke, she didn't expect him asking for insight, so much as she didn't even know what to say. Pausing for a moment to think something out to say, she opened her mouth to answers.
"There's been a sudden spike in the amount of gangs around here so it's just good to always be careful." Especially at this time of night. Although it really was her morning, humans loved to come out and this time and spread havoc when no one could look.
"It's nothing of your concern though so don't worry too much about it." She added at the end, nodding her head quickly.
Looking up at Jefferson, Peyton nodded her head slightly at him.
"Yup, I'm definitely ready to go." Making her way back over to the door she looked over at Coraline, now more nuzzled into a corner of the couch as she drew. "I'll be back home whenever." She announced over to her, receiving a wave in reply. Before she stepped out the door, Coraline turned her head towards Peyton before speaking.
"Just be careful when you come back home."
"I always am." The younger vampire replied, seeming confused at her friend's warning.
"I know you are but don't let your guard down. Supposedly it's getting worse for us out there. Just watch your back, alright?"
Processing Coraline's words, Peyton nodded her head at her, physically and mentally preparing herself in case she did get attacked. "See you later." Opening up the door, she walked out, holding the door open for Jefferson. "You coming?"
