Hi, i have lost count now. I read eclipse and breaking dawn again. I dont really like new much as much as the rest cos edwads not in it much. but still cant wait for the film though. i had a good easter thanks. lots of going out with friends and stuff. I went to a fancy dress party on Sunday night dressed as a school girl, it was funny.
What did you do.
I still havent had a twilight party though. Word has spread that i have the DVD and i have now got some more people as obsessed as me. ha. x
Hi Lyndell! How are you? Just having a wonderful break from teaching. It's nice to sleep in and not have to worry about making the kids's lunch for school, although I still have to get up for hubby and make his lunch. How was your Easter? I'm reading the books again....for the 6th or 7th time. She's put me off other authors!
Yes, lots of it is in the DVD 'extras' but it's still a fascinating read. I was hoping they would have the extended kissing scene, the one they had to cut out because Stephenie thought it was too 'steamy' (she is a bit of a prude, I think...lol...). My fave is the movie commentary by Rob, Kristen and Catherine. Rob's so funny. You sit there and listen to them and you feel like you're in the room with them watching the movie together. It felt bizarre! Good luck with the playlist.
Hi, Lyndell. Hope you're enjoying your weekend. The Catherine Hardwicke Director's Notebook is also available at Target and KMart (and only retails there for $22.95 (a lot cheaper then the leading bookstores). We're going to watch the DVD on my girlfriend's (a fellow Twilighter) massive flatscreen, hopefully next weekend (we've all been busy with work).
Glad you were able to do the photos...the playlist should be just as easy. BTW, the Catherine Hardwicke Twilight Notebook is actually available in Dymocks and Angus and Robertson. It retails for 35 bucks. I was so tempted to buy it...but I've already ordered one from Amazon and it should be arriving soon. My students (particularly the girls) got a kick out of my lesson today. I uploaded a gorgeous pic of Rob and projected it on the Promenthian board (smartboard) in class. I teach LOTE Indonesian, and we were talking about how to describe someone. It was funny how my female students all became googly eyed! The lesson was a success!
Hi Lyndell! Things are good here--can't wait until Saturday! I hope I can get my hands on a DVD but I have to work until 4pm. Hoping Target has a lot of them!
New Moon went a bit slow for me as well. Twilight was definately a faster read. We'll see--
Things are pretty quiet here in Perth, going to be a hot one tomorrow. The temp is constantly up and down. Yeah, I should be getting the DVD and the book soon. I also pre-ordered Stephenie Meyer's Guide to the Twilight saga, but I think it hasn't been released in the US yet. I'm thinking of getting Robert Pattinson the Album....just for the pictures!
As for uploading pics, are you familiar with Photobucket? Just join and you can find tonnes of Rob photos there, copy and paste (as you copy using html, the codes will automatically come up, then you paste it on your page while you edit profile). As for the music, just join Playlist.com. It's free and you can create your own, then get the code and paste it on your Twilight webpage or any other webpage you have. It's pretty straightforward. I learnt all this on my own, trial and error! It gets easier every time...lots of fun! I have so many Rob photos, its scary! (lol) Hope I was able to help. Have a great weekend.
Just got an e-mail from Amazon. They've sent my Twilight DVD and the Catherine Hardwicke Twilight Notebook. I can't wait!
I went to see Twilight for the 13th time last Wednesday with a girlfriend...I couldn't believe it was still playing in my local ACE cinema!! I just thought...hey when am I going to see this on the big screen again?! Lol!
Yes...I'm also planning a 'Twilight DVD' showing with some of my buddies. A friend of mine has this hideously gigantic flat screen tv that will be perfect for the occasion (lol).
I am sure you will find your Edward one day. In the meantime ...there's Rob Pattinson to drool over.
It's just something about the story and how one can love so passionately, deeply and at times, possessively, that make us all sigh, swoon and dream. Every girl/woman wants an Edward as their other half. My own life isn't perfect, but I have found my Edward in my gorgeous husband. Nevertheless, it's great to be able to 'escape' into the world of Twilight. I've seen the movie 12 times and can't wait for the DVD...I know the dialogue by heart (lol!)
Hi Lyndell! Big Twilight greetings from Perth. I'm kind of new to this website myself, but I've 'chatted' with some really nice people from all over the globe. I'm happily married with 3 teenagers. My daughters got me hooked on the Twilight Saga. I think I'm more of a fan now. I've always been a book freak ....I read at least a novel a week....try to squeeze them in between my teaching job. I've been reading the Twilight Saga over and over now...just seem to rotate them...I can't seem to get enough of them (lol!). Anyway, tell me about yourself.
