Malikai's eyes met hers as he stopped at another light, his lips turning into an inviting smile. "We're all looking for something, whether at a church or institute. Just keep searching. What I think you're looking for is security. And me-- well I'm looking for someone to keep secure. Whether or not you'll let me, is all up to you." He responded back, tilting his head to the side, his chuckle light but assuring. If anything Malikai always knew what he wanted spot on. When he first met eyes with that black Cadi, he knew it had to be his and 6 months later after intensive work schedules and endless tutoring classes, he decided to get that Cadi. When he wanted that teaching job at the local highschool, he did everything he had to get that job. Now, he wanted Birdy. Everything in him was screaming for the challenge of winning her over.
Malikai's eyes traveled back to her and he gently placed his finger under her chin, bringing her face up. "I know where." He murmured before stepping closer, looking behind him at the now empty church front. "How much do you enjoy Jazz ?" He asked softly, his orbs entranced in hers. He imagined if she ever went out how many men hounded her about her beauty and how many women bellowed with jealousy. Such beauty that held so much innocence, yet he was considered an innocent man himself. Or so he was judged. His simple index finger ran up her face and he stopped at the mid section of her cheek, still taking her in. "I don't think I've wanted anything more than to just look at you." He chuckled out in all honesty. "And I've just met you. This is entirely too unrealistic." He continued before dropping his hand, looking past her shoulder towards the car. "Shall we ?"
It was only when he left the church behind that he loosened up. He slowly loosened his tie and when their gazes locked again he felt the need to tell her exactly why he wanted her out here. "You are by far the most beautiful woman I've seen. And I know that is not something you would say in a church setting, but it feels like you haven't been told how much you're worth." He looked down at his freshly shined church shoes and mimicked a cute shy boy facade before meeting her bold green eyes again. "It's an infinite amount and that's why I'd like to take you out. Not to supper at my parents, but to dinner."
a little bit about the writers. this page is run by two people, scarlet and Edward. scarlet roleplays with the girls and Edward roleplays with the boys. kind of obvious, yes? we will not be on at the same time all the time. there are time differences between us. scarlet lives in new York and Edward in California but we both shall be on fairly often. we joined the site just to have fun and write. we hate to do this but we do have a few rules which are listed below :
we have been apart of the site before which helps us out a little so we do know the difference between effort and no effort. we prefer storylines or some sort of plot. we are not the best of writers and we will not pretend to be but we will try our hardest and we expect you to do the same. we do not fall in love instantly, we don't want to just live in a world of fantasy, we would like reality in there somewhere. don't send multiple comments, you are not the only one we talk with so have patience. patience is a virtue, you know? please if you add, please comment or ask us to send you a comment. we don't bite. so I think that is about all we have to say for now. looking forward to talking with you, love.
