She sighed happily as she watched the clock strike noon. She smiled as she reached behind her and untied the black apron and hung it up. She pulled her curly brown hair out of the ponytail it was in as she walked out of the restaurant where she worked weekends. Today was the last day of the weekend, therefor she wouldn't have to work again for a few days. She pulled out her phone, dialing her sisters number. When she didn't answer she began to leave her a voicemail. "Hey, its me...I just wanted to know if you were all right...you didn't come-" She was cut off by the sound of sirens as police cars zoomed by. They turned the corner so tightly, they almost hit her as she walked, causing her to jump back and drop her phone so she wouldn't get hit.
He tugged his shirt from his black backpack, looking around the beach. His body was finally dry from the swim he just took and he figured it was time to head home. He was now wearing black shorts over his swim trunks. He pulled his shirt over his body, fixing it on his body. He slid on his shoes before picking up his bag and heading down the beach towards his car. When he got to his dirty jeep he tossed his bag in the back seat. He started up the car, sighing softly as he pulled back. He only blinked before he saw a girl walking behind his car, causing him to hit the breaks. He took a deep breath as he realized he hadn't hit her. He leaned out his window and called out to her. "Are you okay?" he asked
